Versant Diagnostics acquires American Dermatopathology Laboratory

Versant Diagnostics, an independent physician services company, has acquired American Dermatopathology Laboratory, LLC, based in Centerville, Ohio. The practice provides diagnostic pathology services for skin conditions and lesions. H. Nicholas Shamma, MD, a dermatopathologist, joined Versant Diagnostics as part of the transaction and will work within Versant DermPath, the company's dermatopathology entity. Deal value was not disclosed.
