Union Community Care to acquire Berks Community Health Center

Union Community Care and Berks Community Health Center announced their Boards of Directors have approved a merger agreement, with deal value not disclosed. Berks Community Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center operator providing primary, preventive, and specialty healthcare services to Berks County residents regardless of ability to pay through multiple brick-and-mortar locations and a mobile medical unit. The proposed merger remains subject to regulatory approval. If approved, Berks will continue operating under its current name as "Berks Community Health Center — powered by Union Community Care," with no immediate changes to scheduled services at current locations.
