Surplus Solutions acquires Boston Industries, laboratory equipment repair specialist

Surplus Solutions LLC, a portfolio company of NMS Capital, has acquired Boston Industries, a Walpole, Massachusetts-based laboratory equipment repair and refurbishment provider. Deal terms were not disclosed. Boston Industries specializes in the repair and refurbishment of flow cytometry, microscopy, liquid handling, nucleic acid preparation, and PCR systems, and has served customers in more than 45 countries since its 2013 founding. The acquisition expands Surplus Solutions' in-house technical service capabilities across its customer base of biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and life sciences companies.
