Surgery Partners acquires North Florida Cataract Specialists and Vision Care

Surgery Partners has acquired North Florida Cataract Specialists and Vision Care, an ophthalmology physician group founded by Gregory Snodgrass, MD. The practice operates two locations in Gainesville and Tioga, Florida, and provides cataract surgery, dry eye treatment, and comprehensive vision care with a clinical team of two ophthalmologists and two optometrists. The acquisition reflects Surgery Partners' continued investment in ophthalmology and expansion of its surgical facilities and physician practices. Deal value was not disclosed.
