Project Farma to acquire SimoTech in undisclosed deal

Project Farma, a PerkinElmer unit providing GMP manufacturing services, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire SimoTech, a manufacturing automation and GMP IT solutions provider. Founded in 2011 and based in Cork, Ireland, SimoTech designs, builds, and operates process automation systems for pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturers, serving 10 of the top 20 global pharma and biotech companies. The deal value was not disclosed.
