Oculis to acquire Accure Therapeutics for $3.8 million in deal for Privosegtor rights

Oculis has agreed to acquire Accure Therapeutics' worldwide development and commercial rights to Privosegtor (ACT-01), a neuroprotective candidate in registrational development for optic neuritis, for $3.8 million upfront plus up to 2.05 million Oculis ordinary shares. Accure is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing neuroprotective drug candidates for optic neuritis and neurology indications. The acquisition terminates Oculis' existing license agreement with Accure and is expected to reduce royalty obligations. Under separate closings expected by February and March 2027, Oculis will also acquire ACT-02, an early-stage preclinical neurology candidate, contingent on completion of the Privosegtor transaction.
