iRhythm Technologies to acquire Vital Connect for $287.5 million

iRhythm Technologies entered into a definitive agreement on August 5, 2026 to acquire Vital Connect for $287.5 million, comprised of $237.5 million in cash and $50 million in iRhythm common stock. Vital Connect develops biosensor and wearable monitoring technologies for remote cardiac and physiological monitoring. The transaction is subject to Vital Connect shareholder approval and Hart-Scott-Rodino antitrust clearance, with closing targeted for the end of 2026. iRhythm will provide interim funding of up to $30 million to support Vital Connect's operations pending close.
