Intermountain Health is acquiring Surgery Partners' stake in Idaho Falls Community Hospital and Mountain View Hospital for approximately $795 million, valuing the combined facilities at about $1.15 billion. The two acute care hospitals provide surgical services and specialty care, including a Level III NICU, and employ more than 2,300 staff across the facilities and affiliated clinics. The deal is expected to close in the coming months, subject to approvals, and the hospitals will remain locally managed and operationally separate from Intermountain.
