EnableComp acquires Helix Advisory, a revenue recovery software company

EnableComp has acquired Cincinnati-based Helix Advisory, a revenue recovery software company, in a deal with terms not disclosed. Helix Advisory uses technology to identify hospital underpayments and revenue leakage that traditional audit systems miss. EnableComp plans to integrate Helix's capabilities into its platform for complex claims and denials, allowing hospitals to reduce reliance on separate audit vendors. Helix founder Zack Higbie has joined EnableComp as Vice President of Revenue Recovery Products. Early Helix clients generated net revenue improvements exceeding 2 percent on previously unrecognized or written-off revenue.
