Doctronic acquires Summer Health to expand into pediatric telemedicine

Doctronic, an AI-native primary care provider, has acquired Summer Health, a text-based pediatric telemedicine platform. Financial terms were not disclosed. Summer Health provides on-demand virtual care for children and has supported more than 100,000 pediatric encounters. The acquisition gives Doctronic access to Summer Health's dataset of over 100,000 real-world pediatric text conversations, which will be used to develop pediatric-specific AI models and safety guardrails.
