Chapters Health System forms joint venture with Preferred Care to launch hospice program in Florida

Chapters Health System has formed a joint venture with Preferred Care, a home health and palliative care provider operating across 18 counties in southwest Florida. The partnership will launch Preferred Care Hospice in Collier County, Florida, following Chapters' approval of a Certificate of Need to expand its service region in the state. Preferred Care was founded in 2004 and has served 51,000 patients. The new hospice service will combine Preferred Care's local expertise with Chapters' operational infrastructure and support.
