Cellution Biologics acquires SimpliDerm business from Elutia for $11 million

Cellution Biologics has completed its acquisition of the SimpliDerm human acellular dermal matrix business from Elutia Inc. for $8 million at closing plus up to $3 million in transition and commercial milestone payments over 18 months. SimpliDerm is a hydrated hADM product offered in multiple sizes and configurations for surgical soft tissue repair and reconstruction applications. The acquisition provides Cellution with an established U.S. commercial presence and customer relationships with surgeons, hospitals, group purchasing organizations and integrated delivery networks in the reconstructive surgery market.
