Ascend Learning acquires TAMS to expand faculty management offerings for nursing schools

Ascend Learning has acquired Teaching Assignment Management System (TAMS), a cloud-based platform for managing teaching assignments and faculty workload at nursing schools and health sciences academic programs. TAMS was built at Duke University and is used by over 70 colleges and universities including Johns Hopkins, Texas A&M, and Marquette University. Deal value was not disclosed. The acquisition expands Ascend Learning's portfolio of technologies serving healthcare education institutions.
