Arcturis Data to acquire Akrivia Health in £140 million all-share deal

Arcturis Data has agreed to acquire Akrivia Health, both Oxford-based providers of NHS patient data to the pharmaceutical industry, in an all-share transaction valued at £140 million expected to complete in autumn. Akrivia Health is a healthcare data platform that aggregates real-world patient data from NHS trusts for drug development and research. The combined company will serve 40 NHS trusts with data on over 20 million patients in treatment and 100 million aggregated patient records, with partnerships including AstraZeneca, Bristol Myers Squibb, GSK, Johnson & Johnson, Novartis and Teva. Akrivia Chief Executive David Newton is expected to hold a senior position in the merged entity.
