Mainline Health Systems to assume operations of two Southeast Arkansas Behavioral Healthcare clinics

Mainline Health Systems announced plans to assume operations of two behavioral health clinics operated by Southeast Arkansas Behavioral Healthcare System (SABHS) in Star City and Sheridan. SABHS operates community-based clinics providing mental health and substance abuse treatment services in southeast Arkansas. The transition comes as the nonprofit organization concludes 62 years of service. Arcare will assume operations of SABHS's clinics in Stuttgart and Pine Bluff as part of a collaborative transition plan.

Family & Children's Services acquires Center for Therapeutic Interventions

Family & Children's Services has acquired the Center for Therapeutic Interventions, a Tulsa-based behavioral health provider. CTI offers addiction and recovery services, including treatment for opioid use disorders. The combined organization plans to expand service reach and integrate workforces and care approaches, with no interruption to current CTI patients. Family & Children's Services CEO Adam Andreassen said the organizations expect to see expanded community impact beginning in 2027.

Advanced Recovery Systems acquires Promises Behavioral Health

Advanced Recovery Systems, based in Winter Park, Florida, acquired Promises Behavioral Health in early July. Promises Behavioral Health operates inpatient, residential, and outpatient addiction and mental health treatment facilities. The combined company operates 24 facilities in 14 states and offers medical detox, inpatient, residential and outpatient mental health and addiction treatment services. Deal terms were not disclosed.

HCRS to acquire United Counseling Service of Bennington County

Health Care and Rehabilitation Services of Windham and Windsor Counties is considering a formal agreement to acquire United Counseling Service of Bennington County, with both organizations' boards expected to vote within three to four months. UCS provides mental health care, disability support services, and operates a federally funded Head Start preschool program. HCRS has been providing management oversight of UCS since spring following the organization's struggle to maintain its state designation as a provider for developmentally disabled clients, which is required for Medicaid reimbursements. UCS currently has a 24 percent staff vacancy rate and intends to hire additional employees if the acquisition proceeds.

New York startup Radial acquires Mindful Health Solutions

Radial, a New York City-based startup, has acquired outpatient mental health operator Mindful Health Solutions. Mindful Health Solutions provides transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), therapy, medication management, psychiatry, and interventional psychiatry services including esketamine and IV ketamine infusion therapy. The combined company operates 27 sites and will be led by Radial CEO John Capecelatro, with Mindful Health Solutions Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tobias Marton retaining that title. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Oceans Healthcare acquires Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of New Orleans

Oceans Healthcare has acquired Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of New Orleans, rebranding it as Oceans Behavioral Hospital of Greater New Orleans – Kenner West. The facility provides inpatient behavioral health services for adults and older adults, as well as outpatient behavioral health programs. Oceans Healthcare, based in Plano, Texas, said it has begun integrating the facility into its network by implementing its clinical, operational and quality processes. The acquisition brings Oceans Healthcare's Louisiana footprint to 21 locations.

ARC Health Partners acquires The Waverly Group to expand pediatric services in Connecticut

ARC Health Partners said it has acquired The Waverly Group, a multidisciplinary pediatric practice based in Old Greenwich, Connecticut. The Waverly Group provides collaborative assessments and therapies addressing children's and adolescents' behavioral, emotional, developmental, educational, and physical needs. The acquisition is ARC Health's second Connecticut-based partnership and its fourth in the greater New York metropolitan area. Deal value was not disclosed.

Devereux acquires Georgia nonprofit Gigi's House

Devereux has acquired Gigi's House, a nonprofit residential treatment facility in Clayton County, Georgia. The facility provides therapeutic care and support services for female youth survivors of commercial sexual exploitation and trauma. Gigi's House will operate as Devereux – Gigi's House and serve youth ages 12 to 17 who have experienced emotional, physical or sexual trauma. Financial terms were not disclosed.
